Matthew Rehwoldt, known to wrestling fans as Aiden English, had a strange career in WWE.

He started off as part of a 19th century throwback tag team, then he was the mouthpiece for Rusev. To be fair, he got #RusevDay over in a big way before WWE made the absurd decision to split them up. If you get over on your own you will be punished!

English turned 18-years-old just two days before Eddie Guerrero sadly passed away in 2005; he didn't wrestle his first match until 2011, so it's unlikely he would've met Latino Heat in person. He did get to meet his family when he joined NXT though, including Shaul Guerrero, who went by the name of Raquel Diaz.

Diaz and English hit it off right away, then got engaged in 2014. Once they were married on January 3, 2016, English was officially a part of the Guerrero family. Despite WWE mentioning Eddie whenever they can, whether it's through storylines with Rey Mysterio or video packages highlighting legends of the business, you won't hear them talk about Aiden and Raquel. Occasionally, Vickie and Chavo show up when WWE has no choice, but the rest of the family are nowhere to be seen (apart from Eddie's son Dominik Mysterio of course).

It's not celebrated like the British Bulldog joining the Hart family, but Aiden English is a certified Guerrero.

When I'm not trying my hardest to visit all 50 U.S. states, I'm listening to music from the 80s, watching TV from the 90s, and reminiscing about growing up in the 00s. I'm currently living in Melbourne, Australia so WWE premium live events are on Sunday afternoons for me; the absolute dream.
