10 Obscure WWE Tag Teams You Totally Don't Remember

2. Matt Hardy & Tatanka

WWE were impressed by Tatanka's return cameo vs. Eugene on Raw in the summer of 2005. After that, the promotion brought an old 90s favourite back into the mix full-time, and he...ended up teaming with Matt Hardy. What?! Yes, yes it's true. Matt and Tatanka were partners for a while.

Together, they even went after MNM's titles and scored a non-title win over the reigning champs at No Way Out 2006. This fever dream of a situation didn't go on for too long, but it definitely happened. No, really - go and have a look on the Network/Peacock archives if you don't believe it.

A member of Team Xtreme buddying up with Tatanka (of all wrestlers) to battle for tag gold sounded off the wall. It was, and yet the retro flavour of the latter appealed to fans for a short spell. Few would believe this one without picture or video evidence to back it up.

Weird.
