7. Curtis Axel Sold Braun Strowman’s Raw Attack

When he remembered to sell it, Curtis Axel's wincing and pained expressions were a nice addition to the IC Title match between The Miz and Matt Hardy. Just 48 hours before the Glasgow house show, Axel had been put through the announce table by Braun Strowman on Raw. It was nice to see him sell that here.

As he was wearing a neck brace, Curtis let Bo Dallas do much of the heavy lifting in terms of interference. It was then hilarious to see Axel jerk his supposedly-injured neck around when the referee ejected both he and Dallas from ringside. For some reason, Axel forgot he was wearing the brace temporarily.

Particularly interesting was Bo repeatedly going over to Axel and checking on his neck. This came across as a reminder from one wrestler to another that he was supposed to be feigning injury. At one point, Axel couldn't help but smile as Dallas reminded him. Oops.
