6. JR Never Agreed With Chyna Wrestling Men

It's likely there were those in attendance that wouldn't have agreed with absolutely everything Jim Ross and Jim Cornette said. It's easy to imagine Ross's words on Joanie 'Chyna' Laurer irked some, because the legendary announcer turned his attention to the female wrestler's increased emphasis on tangling with the men as her career progressed.

Rather bluntly, Ross claimed that he never had much time for these inter-gender matches. JR was on hand to commentate on Chyna's battles against the likes of Jeff Jarrett and Chris Jericho, and it's interesting to learn what the announcer was thinking during such bouts. Overall, Ross just didn't think Chyna wrestling men was believable enough.

That opinion flies in the face of those who craved a top push for Chyna. She did become WWF Intercontinental Champion, peaking with that title reign and never reaching the heights of the World Title. In JR's view, that must be considered a good thing.

It seems that Jim Ross wanted to keep men and women as separate entities on television, only mixing verbally instead of actually having matches.
