10 Old-Time 'Rasslin' Traditions WWE Should Kill In Order To Live

10. Hire More Athletes And Fewer "Big Men" And "Hot Chicks"

One of the key issues in WWE at present is that WWE's market share in the fighting industry was significantly hampered by the rise and establishment of UFC. While yes, WWE has worked with MMA superstars at every step along UFC's 25 years of growing acclaim, it's not as if WWE signing Dan Severn and Ken Shamrock destroyed UFC. As well, when Brock Lesnar switched from WWE to UFC, he took eyes to the competition, and these aren't eyes that have returned to WWE in full. One way for WWE to solve the issue of their own relevancy in the fight industry is to sign more athletes who appear as though they could be competent and competitive fighters rather than bodybuilders and ex-fitness models. Performers like Neville, Asuka, Sasha Banks, Sami Zayn and others give the impression that they're bad asses with some skills rather than one-dimensional performers. Perception is reality.
