Due to Bill Eadie's poor health, Vince McMahon decided adding Crush to the Demolition lineup was a shrewd move. It did make sense, because there was no guarantee Ax (Eadie) would be able to continue alongside Smash for long, but the addition killed the team's aura.

That was in 1990, and Ax is still wrestling today. Let that sink in for a moment. A man who seemed finished 27 years ago is currently accepting bookings on the independent circuit, Demolition face paint and all. He's not alone either, because Ax regularly teams up with old partner Smash to give Demo fans a trip down memory lane.

As cool as it that Smash is still wrestling though, Ax is the more surprising. Who could have believed that the 69 year old would be pulling on the leather in 2017? Young kids must wonder who these pensioners slowly walking down the ring to that bad-ass entrance music are.
