10 Old WWE Stars You Won't Believe Are Still Wrestling

5. Gangrel (48)

By far the most active ex-WWE star featured, the vampire warrior Gangrel has wrestled no fewer than 15 matches in 2017 thus far. He's still only 48 too, which means the Gangrel you see on the indies is likely similar to the one who led The Brood into battle on Raw back during the Attitude Era.

That gimmick is timeless. Who doesn't want to see a vampire who drinks blood, spits it all over the fans, and then douses opponents in a blood bath? The Gangrel character has enabled David Heath to continue making money from autograph conventions, and he remains in demand for appearances in promotions all across North America.

In March, Gangrel even worked opposite wrestling's 'other' vampire. On the co-promoted BWCW/XBW 'Battle Of The Vampires' show, he beat Kevin Thorn in the main event. For some reason (even though it totally shouldn't), that actually sounds awesome.
