10 Oldest Wrestlers To Ever Compete At WWE SummerSlam
1. Vince McMahon
Also happening in 2006 (seriously, the top three matches on this list all happened on the same night), D-Generation X of Triple H and Shawn Michaels took on The McMahons - 36-year-old Shane and 60-year-old Vince. In fact, Vince was only four days away from turning 61, and what an early birthday present this was.
In one of the most overbooked matches in history, The McMahons received help from The Spirit Squad, The Big Show, and Umaga among others and yet they still couldn't keep Trips and HBK down. Shane was taken out with a midair Sweet Chin Music and Vince was pinned after a trash can shot, a superkick, and finally a Pedigree.
It is not in the least bit surprising that Vince tops this list. He won the Royal Rumble aged 53, the WWF Championship aged 54, and let's not even get into the ECW Championship debacle. He may have been a crazy old man for longer than we may have liked, but Vince's willingness to put his ageing body on the line again and again will always endear The Chairman to the Universe he built.
