10 Oldest Wrestlers To Ever Compete At WWE SummerSlam
8. Shane McMahon
Beating out Finlay by just one day (yep, it was that close) Shane McMahon was six months shy of 50 when he stepped into the ring to take on Kevin Owens at SummerSlam 2019.
Shane-O-Mac and Kev-O-Owens had been feuding on and off since the tail-end of 2017. Despite being the babyface earlier in the rivalry, Shane was now the nefarious baddie, working to hold down Owens and the entire SmackDown roster. Owens was desperate for a match with Shane, but the SmackDown commissioner kept refusing. Owens finally got his way by putting his career on the line if he lost, and the stage was set for SummerSlam.
In a match that (thankfully) only ran for 11 minutes, Owens defeated Shane and his special guest enforcer, Elias, to keep his job and put the boss' son in his place. This wouldn't be the end of the feud though - that would come on the first episode of SmackDown on Fox later that year.
Whilst Shane hasn't been seen on WWE TV since WrestleMania 37, you can never rule out his return to the ring. Expect to see Shane much higher up this list if there's ever a revised edition.
