The more one thinks about it (and I would say it may be better not to do so), Vince McMahon is a bit of an awful man. As the guy who has the final say on what eventually makes it to TV, a lot of the blame for some of the company's reprehensible misogyny can be laid at his door, especially when it comes to angles that he himself is included in.

During the late '90s and early '00s, Vince booked himself into a succession of on-screen relationships with the various beautiful ladies working for WWF at the time, the most high-profile of which was Trish Stratus. Vince's story with Trish was particularly grim, with the Boss famously making Trish bark like a dog.

It is probably understandable considering the awfulness of the story, but Trish and Vince displayed little in the way of chemistry during their pairing. Maybe it was down to the 30-year age difference.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
