While Matt Hardy would certainly be a defensible choice of opponent for Christians last match, theres something different about the idea of Jeff Hardy vs. Christian Cage in TNA. Both wrestlers received their first legitimate singles opportunities after leaving their WWE partners behind, and though both would eventually return to the WWE fold and win world championships in that company, they were never afforded the level of stardom that TNA provided them. The interesting thing is that in TNA, Christian and Jeff passed one another like ships in the night; Christians first TNA match and Jeffs last (in his initial run) both occurred during the Impact taping on November 28, 2005.
