WWE: 10 Opponents For Brock Lesnar’s Traditional Extreme Rules Appearance

5. Mark Henry

Here's a match that's been teased a couple of times already without actually happening. Mark Henry has been the victim of several start/stop pushes as of late. His retirement swerve on John Cena was one of the best segments of 2013 and lead to a title shot for The World's Strongest Man, but then he turned face right afterward for no real reason and was placed in a part time tag team with Big E. Langston. Henry's made a couple of attempts to bring it to Brock Lesnar, but each time he's tried he's basically gotten punked, being used as little more than cannon fodder to keep Brock strong before matches with other wrestlers. Mark is a performer who deserves better and is one of the only men on the roster who could serve as a credible threat to Lesnar's immense physical attributes. Have it at Extreme Rules and give it a stipulation to ramp up the violence and you've got a bullfight on your hands. Were Brock not on such a limited contract, these two would likely have already had a blow-off, but as it stands, Henry probably isn't high enough on the food chain to get one of the few yearly Lesnar matches.
