10 Opponents For Roman Reigns After WWE WrestleMania 32

9. Big E

As desperate as WWE have been for healthy heels heading into WrestleMania, the New Day faction has been the most over group of stars on the roster yet, aside from a handful of show-closing segments on RAW and SmackDown, the trio has been absent from the main event. To be fair, they collectively hold the WWE Tag Team Championships and are often used as comedy or as a point of levity during shows, but that's just because few superstars exist on the current WWE roster that are as funny, charismatic and entertaining as New Day are. One way to get this trio of performers elevated to the next level is to showcase a more serious side to their characters, and targeting Roman Reigns after he has captured the WWE Championship would be one way to accomplish that. Taking nothing away from Kofi or Xavier, but Big E could be the first member of the three that finds himself headlining a WWE PPV, if for no other reason than his size and the generally accepted notion that Vince McMahon loves 'em big (oh yeah). Considering the momentum the group has built up over the past several months, including several beatdowns on Reigns from which he has yet to exact his revenge, a Big E versus Roman WWE Championship match could certainly headline one of the B-level special events during the Spring or Summer months. The match could also be used as the start of a bigger feud between the two men that gets resumed at some point down the road. It's also interesting to note that several years back, Big E was rumored to be the one Vince McMahon had considered for the "John Cena spot" while Triple H had pushed for Roman Reigns. Only time will tell whether or not the right call was made, but Langston and Reigns could certainly use that fact to play into their feud.
