9. The Cruiserweight Title Situation

If anyone needs a reminder of just how quickly things move in WWE's world, think about this: Enzo Amore was Cruiserweight Champion as calendars ticked over to usher in the start of 2018. Less than four months into the year, he's not even part of the roster and 205 Live has moved on from the era of "Muscles Marinara".

Whilst it's unknown what Amore would have been doing at WrestleMania this year, he certainly would have been part of the Cruiser Title equation. The most likely match would have occurred on the pre-show against Cedric Alexander, but now Alexander will face Mustafa Ali in a Cruiserweight Title Tournament final.

Meanwhile, Amore, the man hand-picked to save 205 from mediocrity last year, looks on from the unemployment line.

A messy sexual assault allegation forced WWE's hand with Enzo; furious their star had not alerted them to the situation, leaving them caught unawares by the news, the company promptly stripped him of the Cruiserweight Title and released Amore in the same day. Right there and then, a contingency plan was put in place for the title and the future of 205 Live.
