The 619 is a highly entertaining manoeuvre that has given Rey Mysterio huge support from his fan base over the years. It is a classic piece of wrestling pantomime, being that the whole thing isnt just a move, but a spectacle in and of itself. Simply put, its awesome. Of course the one wee problem with it, is that its also absolutely ridiculous. After all it really is quite a staggering coincidence that wrestlers who have never been caught in the second rope throughout the entirety of their career, just happen to find themselves stuck there when facing Mysterio. Now, obviously we jest because the move is all in good fun. But this aspect of the move can cause problems sometimes as the lengths performers have to go to, to reach the ropes can be a bit less than convincing. And there is probably no better example of this classic moment where the enormous JBL has to oversell a blow from a man who is about half his size to the point where he unconvincingly tangles himself up in the ropes in the perfect position to receive the 619. Additionally, we are also meant to believe that he was hit hard enough that he cant hear the crowd roar to life as Mysterio closes in on the kick, which is understandably pushing our suspension of disbelief to its absolute limit. Still the kick looks cool.
