Undeterred by Stephanie's refusal to have a father and daughter storyline relationship, Vince instead set his sights on a Shane / Stephanie union. The premise was much the same; Shane would be revealed as the father of sister Stephanie's real life pregnancy. This brother / sister incest would be pretty gross in any scenario, but the fact a real pregnancy was involved made it all the worse. Imagine the questions it could have created if Steph's child ever saw the storyline footage. "Is Uncle Shane my daddy?", it could have got really messy. Stephanie again turned the storyline idea down. You can wager that Hunter probably wasn't too keen on it either. What we can learn from this rejected angle is that Stephanie is a moderate force compared to her father. Whereas Vince is keen on gross-out angles to get attention, Stephanie is far more reserved.
