Undertaker is a huge fan of Kane, a respect which has built around their storyline association throughout the years. With this strong friendship and appreciation in mind, Undertaker actually suggested that Kane should beat him at WrestleMania 14. Out of respect for the Deadman, Kane declined. Just imagine if that angle had taken place though. Wrestling history would have been changed forever. One of pro wrestling's all time great storylines would have been null and void, the legendary streak defences of the 2000's would never have taken place. Kane winning in 1998 would have cost the WWE millions of dollars, with the streak going on to prove a key draw for several Mania buyrates. Undertaker again suggested his streak should end in 2011, pitching that Brock Lesnar should be the man to take the win. That didn't happen because Lesnar was under a UFC contract at the time. Just a few years later though and Undertaker finally got his wish, the streak was ended, with his hand picked opponent Brock Lesnar taking the victory at WrestleMania 30.
