10 Outrageous WrestleMania Moments That Made Mainstream News

10. Wrestlemania 11's Sex Factor

At one moment in time, Pamela Anderson was deemed the hottest woman on the planet. Jenny McCarthy wasn€™t a million miles behind here, either. So to have these two appear at 1995€™s Wrestlemania event was one that the male portion of the then-WWF fanbase was mightily exited for. The original story was that whoever won that year€™s Royal Rumble match would be accompanied by Pam Anderson as they challenged for the WWF Championship at Wrestlemania. Shawn Michaels, of course, would win the Rumble, although Anderson would actually end up accompanying WWF Champion Diesel at Mania. The Heartbreak Kid retaliated by having Jenny McCarthy by his side as he made his way to the ring. For those not around at the time, it€™s hard to explain just how ridiculously popular Pamela Anderson was at this point. Whatever she did made headlines all across the world. Add in rumours that HBK had supposedly bedded the Baywatch beauty and you have even more coverage. Those stories, though, would later be claimed to have been planted in order to grab further attention. Whether true or not, it certainly got eyes on the WWF product. As for the match itself, Diesel would retain the gold against his former best friend. Not only would he walk out with the WWF Title, Big Daddy Cool would also have both Anderson and McCarthy leaving with him as well.
