7. The Streak Ends
As has been said by many superstars and fans over the years, wins and losses dont really mean anything in the wrestling business. The Undertakers streak was something different, though. The famed streak had become an entity all of its own, arguably becoming even bigger than the WWE Championship and seen by many as the major draw of Wrestlemania. With a 21-match undefeated run to his name, The Undertaker would finally see his streak come to an end at the hands of Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 31. Seeing Taker down for the 1-2-3 is one of the most shocking moments in wrestling history, as reflected by the stunned crowd in attendance. The streak had become such a huge part of the Showcase of the Immortals and something that nobody thought would ever be broken. When it did happen, it took the world by such a surprise that Lesnars win was reported as mainstream news right across the globe. For something that is supposedly not a sport and often labelled as a male soap opera, the simple matter of The Undertaker losing a match was huge in non-wrestling circles.
