10 Most Outrageously Creepy Pro Wrestling Face-Paints
9. Wolfpac Sting
When wrestling fans think of professional wrestlers well known for their face paint, Sting has to be at the top of that list. Even during his early days Sting always incorporated face paint into his attire. When Sting made the transformation to black and white face paint a la The Crow, it was a big hit that the crowd really got behind. Soon Sting masks were selling like hotcakes along with any and all NWO memorabilia. When Sting made the switch to the Wolfpac however, he changed his face paint to red and black to go along with the team colors. Not creepy, you say? Well then how about when he had that mustache/goatee combo to go along with the face paint at Halloween Havoc 1998. It made Sting look practically demonic, which didnt really make sense at the time since he was playing a face, and theres something about facial hair mixing with face paint that makes the whole thing look really creepy. It wasnt terrifying monster scary, but more dont have this guy anywhere near your children scary. Add to that the long hair, the black trench coat, and the signature baseball bat, and you had a version of Sting that gave the heebie-jeebies.
