3. Goldust

You all knew he was going to pop up in this one at some point. Nevertheless, Goldust remains a prominent figure not just in WWE, but in professional wrestling as a whole. The song of the legendary Dusty Rhodes, Dustin Runnels hit it big during the Attitude Era when he came up with the Goldust character. First made out to be like a drag queen who had a love for movies, things made of gold, and apparently both male and female wrestlers, over the years Goldust has evolved into a beloved fan favorite, and his recent team up with his brother Cody as The Brotherhood has brought new life into Goldust. Along with that new life came a new face paint design that looks like it came right out of the mind of George Lucas. But back in the early days, his gold face paint with the black lines and a blonde wig to accompany it, made Goldust one of the creepiest characters WWE ever had. Love him or hate him, Goldust has cemented himself into WWE history through his ability to not only come up with an original character, but to continue to push that character into newer, and even better directions.
