1. Keith Lee

Ironically enough, WWE did more to make Keith Lee a star than NXT ever did with how he was handled in that men's tag team elimination match at Survivor Series back in November.

Prior to that point, Lee was largely directionless in NXT. His spectacular showing at Survivor Series, however, forced fans to take notice of how talented he truly is. His face-off with Roman Reigns in particular was remarkable and served as a tease for what he'll have in store for the WWE Universe when he eventually hits the main roster.

Unfortunately, NXT hasn't done nearly enough to capitalize on his momentum as of late. A surprise Royal Rumble win could change that and set him up for a dream match at WrestleMania with WWE champion Brock Lesnar.

Unless he vies for the NXT Championship sometime soon, there really isn't much more for Lee to do in NXT. He could absolutely be positioned as a threat to Lesnar if booked the right way, and with enough eliminations in the Rumble, fans would want to see him be the one to dethrone The Beast as champ.

Unlikey? Absolutely. Far-fetched? Of course. Then again, never before has WWE had someone from NXT win the Rumble. It presents a lot of intriguing possibilities, but for Lee specifically, it's the type of win that would immediately cement him as a star and get him as close as possible to being on Lesnar's level.
