10 Outsiders To Win WWE Royal Rumble 2020 Match

8. Erick Rowan

Erick Rowan has quietly been building momentum on Raw since switching shows in the 2019 WWE Draft. Surely he wouldn't be featured on almost every episode if officials didn't have plans to push him at some point, meaning that a match against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36 isn't entirely out of the question.

As ridiculous as that sounds on paper, look no further than how he's been used over the past year.

He was paired off with Daniel Bryan (who was WWE champion at the time) before winning the SmackDown Tag Team Championship with him in the spring. He then betrayed Bryan and beat him clean in one-on-one action as well as Roman Reigns at the Clash of Champions pay-per-view.

The former Wyatt Family member has yet to do much of note on Raw, but his creepy cage storyline has been a focal point on the program since November. There's been no word on what the endgame might be with the angle and there's a good chance WWE also doesn't yet. Still, Rowan could be well on his way to the main event scene regardless of what's inside.

It's safe to say not many (if any) fans are clamoring for Lesnar vs. Rowan at WrestleMania, but it shouldn't be counted out, either.
