10 People CM Punk Pissed Off Most In His WWE Career

9. The Creative Team

In the CM Punk DVD €˜Best in the World,€™ the star recounts a story about being handed promos written for him shortly after winning his second World Heavyweight Championship in 2009 and that he would tear them up because he needed give promos from his heart. Michael Hayes even calls him a €œmoody prick€ at times (in somewhat of a positive way) and how he wanted to control what he was doing and didn€™t want help from the creative team. Then there was the rumored €œhuge blowup€ between Punk and Creative that led to him being pulled from live events in the lead-up to WrestleMania XXIX last year. And of course, there€™s the most recent situation, which is Punk leaving WWE the day after the Royal Rumble. At that point, WWE is 10 weeks away from WrestleMania, and despite all the jokes about booking on a napkin, the creative team typically has the top two or three storylines underway right after the Rumble. Punk€™s sudden departure forced Creative into a weird holding patter while they tried to determine if Punk was coming back, and then redirecting storylines to accommodate this major change. To be fair, the creative team has to rework storylines constantly, either due to injury or changing attitudes from Vince McMahon, but having to redo one of your top feuds two months before WrestleMania has to get under your skin, probably a lot more than having your scripted promos ripped up.

He fortunately became a fan in time for WrestleMania III and came back as a fan after a long high school hiatus before WM XIV. Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
