CM Punk and AJ Styles famously clashed in the Pure Championship Finals at Ring of Honor’s 2nd Anniversary back in 2004. Cut to 16 years later and it’s apparent the two don’t hold each other in high regard.

Punk recently criticized Styles on Twitter (in a now-deleted tweet) for not speaking up and staying quiet regarding the Black Lives Matter movement. AJ, from the conservative Gainesville, Georgia, in the past has opposed various issues affiliated with left-wing viewpoints.

When asked about it a few days later in an interview, AJ said about Punk's comments: "I will not react at all coming from a guy that I don't have any respect for anyway. It doesn't really matter. Look, my job as a performer is to perform and get the mind off all the things that have happened throughout the world. I am not going to react to people saying ridiculous and stupid things."

On his Twitch stream AJ added regarding Punk, "I'm all about business and some people I don't think are capable of doing good business. It's that simple. He's not worth my time. This guy just likes to get attention, even if it's bad."
