10 People With More WWE Wins Than Sting

7. Lawrence Taylor

Another WrestleMania victor, Lawrence Taylor main evented WrestleMania XI against Bam Bam Bigelow in what was a far better match than it had any right to be, thanks largely to Bam Bam's status as secret best big man in the history of wrestling. Their beef began at the Royal Rumble that year, after Bigelow and Tatanka lost in the final of the WWF tag team title tournament. The crowd gave Bigelow what for, and this obviously irritated the Beast from the East. Taylor, an NFL linebacker (I'm Welsh and don't know what that means) was at ringside, leading Bigelow to give him a hefty shove. The match, was, on.

The match was a bit of a mess, which is understandable. Bam Bam came with the various members of the Ted Dibiase's Million Dollar Corporation, including such legends at Kama and King Kong Bundy. To counteract this, Taylor brought a load of American Football players, including future Horseman (eurgh) Steve McMichael.

Bigelow controlled most of it, but after a huge melee Taylor pulled out the W with a flying forearm. Lawrence Taylor would never wrestle in WWF/E again, giving him a final record of one match, one win, zero losses.

Sting has a similar record, albeit with zero wins and one loss.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
