10 People You Won't Believe Are Still Employed By WWE

10. Tony Chimel

An employee of Vince McMahon's since 1983, Tony Chimel is most recognizable for his role as ring announcer throughout the 1990s and 2000s. One of the voices of the SmackDown brand as the new Millennium dawned, he became notorious for the manner in which he announced the "Rated R Superstar" Edge. Not only was Chimel part of the shows, introducing the larger-than-life Superstars and incredibly beautiful Divas and serving as the MC for house shows, he was also key in the setup of the shows, serving on the ring crew dating back to his first days with the company under Vince McMahon. A trusted and loyal employee for over three decades, it was understandable if fans forgot he still worked for WWE when he was replaced with the likes of Lilian Garcia and, more recently, Eden. But Chimel is still there, helping to ensure the shows go off without an issue every single night that the WWE Superstars and Divas take to the squared circle.
