10 People You Won't Believe Are Still Employed By WWE
9. Sylvester Lefort
The last time fans saw Sylvester Lefort, he was running away from Marcus Louis, who he abandoned and left to lose his hair following a loss to Enzo Amore and Big Cass at an NXT Takeover special. Since then, he has not appeared on an episode of the developmental brand's television show and it is not hard to see why. Despite being a veteran of the system, he was hardly what one would call a quality in-ring worker. In fact, his best work came as a manager for Scott Dawson. With the influx of new and outstanding talent the likes of Kevin Owens, Finn Balor and Hideo Itami, not to mention the added emphasis on women's wrestling, it is no wonder that Triple H and the powers that be in NXT saw fit not to expose Lefort's weaknesses, instead pulling him from television. Even as the brand develops into a hot touring commodity, he has yet to return to the ring. Injury may play a role in it but it is just as likely that he no longer fits the vision that Triple H has for his baby. Whatever the case may be, it is of no wonder that fans would be surprised to learn that he is still employed. As the old saying goes: outta sight, outta mind.
Erik Beaston is a freelance pro wrestling writer who likes long walks in the park, dandelions and has not quite figured out that this introduction is not for Match.com. He resides in Parts Unknown, where he hosts weekly cookouts with Kane, The Ultimate Warrior, Papa Shango and The Boogeyman. Be jealous.
