Like Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger is someone we can all probably live without seeing have another match with Alberto Del Rio. These two have faced off so many times that it's practically become a WWE trope, but there's still the potential for something here if it's handled the right way. Before vanishing from television, Swagger had become a firm fan-favourite and was receiving a great response with his easy to root for "We the People" gimmick. Much of that momentum has no doubt now been lost, but Zeb Colter being in Del Rio's corner adds an interesting new wrinkle to this rivalry, especially if Swagger plays up being betrayed and abandoned by his former mentor. Regardless of who would be the heel, having a patriot square off with a non-American champion is pretty much what this belt has been used for over the past couple of years, and Del Rio kicking off his run by dealing with Swagger and proving that's irrelevant would be no bad thing.The match itself between these two would admittedly be nothing we haven't seen before, but it would be a simple and effective feud to kick things off with and a decent way to get Swagger back on TV.
