10 Perfect Challengers For New US Champion Alberto Del Rio

5. John Cena

Like it or not, this is an obvious place to start to kick off Alberto Del Rio's United States Championship run. John Cena showed no signs of injury following their match at Hell in a Cell, so there's no reason to think that he's going to be written off TV just yet. Instead, that really needs to happen in a rematch, something which could happen as soon as tonight's Raw. Del Rio taking Cena out for the next couple of months gives Zeb Colter something to boast about and quickly re-establishes him as a dominant force in the WWE. Like Swagger and Ziggler (who, spoiler alert, most definitely isn't listed here), this is a match we've seen more than enough times, but getting it over and done with in a fairly fast and definitive fashion wouldn't be the end of the world, even if it stretches out to Survivor Series. Despite the fact that he was essentially playing the face, Del Rio's clean victory over Cena was still surprising - because, let's face it, those are rare - so another of those would also be good. These two share a lot of chemistry in the squared circle, and unless WWE Creative has a really big angle planned to write Cena off TV, then having Del Rio be the one responsible makes the most sense.
