10 Perfect WWE Main Roster Rivalries For Tye Dillinger

1. The Miz

The rivalry between these two practically feels like destiny. The man who took over ten years to fully graduate from developmental versus the man who earned his place through a reality TV competition. The most natural heel in the company (and possibly even the world) versus a man so eminently likeable that he turned narcissism into an endearing trait. The Miz and Tye Dillinger are a match made in heaven and if paired together could even prove to be the defining feud of both men's storied careers.

The Miz excels at incorporating the careers and personal lives of his opponents into his scathing promos, and nobody could provide him with more material than Tye Dillinger. The lengthy stint in developmental, the failed partnership with Jason Jordan, the topknot – all of them excellent targets for a typically blistering character assassination courtesy of The Miz. Dillinger's long road to the top makes him an immediate figure of mockery in the eyes of The Miz, and a natural figure of sympathy for the WWE Universe. They are so perfectly contrasted in an easily exploitable way.

The Miz would no doubt take objection to somebody referring to themselves as a 'Perfect Ten' in his presence, or some other offence against his ego, and then away we go. The Miz at his arrogant, preening, derisive best against one of the most likable wrestlers on the card, but someone who could conceivably lose to him clean, let alone through The Miz's endless chicanery and interference. Miz TV being overridden by incessant 'Ten!' chants. Dillinger dishing out a finale that's even more skull-crushing. Please, WWE. Please.
