Tye Dillinger's surprise #10 entry in this year's Royal Rumble and subsequent battle with Braun Strowman may have been the highlight of the entire event. Creating a fully-fledged story between the two feels like a potential goldmine. Little more than a month ago, the two men arguably had the most momentum of any two wrestlers on the roster. While injury and hesitant booking might have stalled both men, putting them in the ring together soon would still feel certain to bring the house down.

Strowman has been improving by leaps and bounds in the ring recently, but if he's to become a main event player, it's advisable to give his in-ring ability all the fine-tuning possible. Dillinger's been in the business for a much longer time and a series against him would definitely help to elevate Strowman's wrestling game. Dillinger hasn't faced any adversity yet on the main roster, and it would be to his benefit as a character to face an opponent who feels like more of a challenge. Challengers don't get much bigger than The New Face Of Destruction.

Whether or not Dillinger wins, he feels like a hero for willingly placing himself in the way of such a monster. Strowman's feud with Sami Zayn was good, but hampered (as always) by too much involvement from authority figures. Simply position Dillinger as the babyface out to teach Strowman a lesson for callously mauling his way through the roster, and you have a programme with the potential to be fantastic. If Dillinger loses, he still comes off as valiant and likeable. If he wins, he's a giant slayer with main event potential.
