10 PG Wrestling Feuds That Felt Like The Attitude Era
7. Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins
Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose are far more experienced that some give them credit for, but as far as WWE goes, they've only been on the main roster for a little over two years. That said, it was fresh and exciting to see them take 2014 by storm with their long running rivalry that never seemed to get old. Both in the ring and on the mic, they undeniably had chemistry that made every week of programming must-see television. You don't need vulgar language or cheating on someone's wife in order have a great rivalry; only two tremendous wrestlers with the right story, and Ambrose and Rollins had just that. Whether they would have survived swimming with the sharks in the Attitude Era is unknown, but Ambrose's Stone Cold Steve Austin-like antics surely brought back memories of that time period during their feud last year. Not to say Ambrose is the second coming of Stone Cold, but for a time last fall, he certainly came across that way. It wasn't because he was bald or flipping the bird at The Authority, but rather because he showed a tremendous amount of attitude in his feud with Rolins that's been missing since the late '90s. Rollins, to his credit as well, was and still is the perennial heel, one that would make a corporate Rock proud. And to think Roman Reigns was almost in Ambrose's position instead.
