10 Plot Holes On Every Episode Of WWE RAW

7. The Continued Employment Of Kurt Angle

Kurt Angle is totally inept.

This year alone, he conspired to turn the star signing recruited by Triple H and Stephanie McMahon against them with his bumbling word vomit. This led to the mixed tag team match at WrestleMania 34, during which Ronda Rousey brutalised and embarrassed both husband and wife before breaking Stephanie's arm 24 hours later. So why is he still employed in his capacity as General Manager - a capacity already redundant, given the presence of Stephanie McMahon's Commissioner? A role at which he consistently fails, per the words of his boss?

Stephanie McMahon doesn't just hate Kurt Angle. She hated Mick Foley, whom she also dressed down every time they interacted. That's her character, for some reason. She is either unable to recruit effectively, or it does not matter who she recruits, and she hates everybody. That being the case, why does Stephanie McMahon even want to be there? Why doesn't she just run RAW herself? Stephanie is, generally, a plot hole unto herself. But specifically, Angle doesn't just reflect badly on Stephanie in storylines. He is the reason Ronda Rousey ripped her arm from her socket. It makes no sense that he remains in a role that is in itself redundant; all he ever does is materialise out of thin air when the argument invariably happens.

A sensor could do his job. A stopwatch could do his job.
