8. Would He Do The Invasion Angle Differently Today?

Opinions on The Invasion Angle are polarising. Some believe it was a well done story line whereas others believe WWE missed out on so much potential. The idea of a supercard featuring the two top promotions of the Monday Night Wars was considered by many to be a dream scenario as it would allow fans to see which promotion was superior. Of course, many of WCW's stars were on guaranteed money so decided to let their deals run out before talking to Vince. The angle began McMahon's son, Shane, announced on a simulcast that he had bought WCW from under his father's nose. This led to several run-in appearances of WCW wrestlers during Raw and SmackDown over the months after WrestleMania X-Seven, culminating in a winner takes all match between WWE and the WCW/ECW Alliance after around eight months of conflict. It would be interesting to hear whether McMahon would do anything differently.
