4. What Is Going On With Brock Lesnar?

It's fair to say the WWE World Heavyweight Championship is a state of limbo at the moment and there are plenty questions surround its current incumbent, Brock Lesnar. His reign hasn't really taken off since seeing off John Cena for a second time at Night of Champions in September. Could WWE have made a mistake giving a part time guy their most prestigious title? There is little doubt WWE thought they could get away with just having Lesnar's advocate Paul Heyman on television every week. This works to a certain extent but we haven't seen a championship match since September and that isn't good enough. Do the belts mean anything these days? They're all certainly going a tad stale. As for Brock himself, it has been well documented that his contract runs out soon after WrestleMania XXXI which poses a couple of questions. Is he going to re-sign and who is ready and in-line to take the strap from him? The main event roster is very, very thin in the company at the moment. The situation hasn't been helped by the injuries sustained by Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan but still, there hasn't been any stand out contenders to take their spots at the top. Steve could dive into NXT here too. The company has put all its hopes into the developmental territory but what if it fails? Where are the Austins and Rocks of the future coming from?
