WrestleMania is WWE’s chance to appeal to hardcore wrestling connoisseurs, lapsed fans, and casual admirers. Your average Joe isn’t going to tune into RAW every week or buy Extreme Rules, but even fans who are unfamiliar with WWE’s current narratives will check out WrestleMania.

But this year’s card feels like an attempt to appeal to everyone of the company's diverse fanbase. You’ve got indie favourites battling it out in what promises to be a high octane cruiserweight spot-fest. You’ve got Roman Reigns trying to beat the 'Phenom' himself, and Mr TNA facing off against Vince McMahon's son. You’ve got one of RAW’s most popular babyface’s going up against its most dastardly heel in Chris Jericho vs Kevin Owens, and a bizarre nostalgia-fest in the form of Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar.

It seems as though the show has been constructed to entice fans of all stripes, whether you’re an indie-watching die-hard, an Attitude Era-lover, a Cena fan, a Reigns fan, or all of the above. You might not personally be invested in Goldberg vs. Lesnar, but somebody somewhere undoubtedly is, and if that match isn’t why you’re tuning in, you’ll probably find something worthwhile in Jericho vs. Owens, Neville vs. Aries, Corbin vs. Ambrose, or anywhere else on the card.
