7. That Turnbuckle Spot
It’s not just solid character development that’s seen Braun Strowman become a hit, though. He’s also been a part of some no-nonsense segments inside the ring, such as his scuffle with Roman Reigns on the go-home episode of Raw this past week.
After the inevitable breakdown of their contract signing, and after brawling at ringside and through the crowd, Strowman and Reigns made their way back into the ring where Reigns was tossed chest-first into the turnbuckle, causing it to detach from the ring-post.
It made for a moment as unexpected as it was original - a welcome breath of fresh air when compared to the usual contract signing table spot. Not only that, but as well as being hugely effective in making Strowman look like even more of a monster, it also made Reigns look pretty beastly in his own right when he defiantly made a point of signing the contract anyway.
All in all, this was a great spot that provided the perfect finishing touch to a feud that has, so far, exceeded its modest expectations.
