Hailing from Scotland by way of Israel, Noam Dar may be one of the youngest chaps in the competition but he also comes with one of the biggest reputations.

Dar is just 22 years old, which is an incredibly sobering realisation for the 30-year-old dude writing about him. He also comes with some of the finest merchandise in all of professional wrestling, which is no small feat these days.

Despite his young age Dar has been wrestling for eight years now, and the future is preposterously bright for the guy. Regardless of whether he wins the entire thing or not, it is almost inevitable that Dar will eventually find himself in a showcase position on some of the largest stages in wrestling.

But who is to say that position won't be this tournament? Dar was one of the first to qualify for the event, and comes in with a hell of a reputation.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
