The current PWG World Champion, Zack Sabre Jr. may very well be the best technical wrestler on the planet today.

The Wrestling Observer deem him so, awarding him the Bryan Danielson Award for Best Technical Wrestler for the last two years. Sabre Jr. qualified for the event by forcing 'Flash' Morgan Webster to tap out at PROGRESS 29. Webster wasn't the first, and he sure as balls wouldn't be the last.

Sabre Jr. has quickly been marked out as one of the favourites to win the whole thing. He is already one of the biggest names in professional wrestling outside of World Wrestling Entertainment, the sort of performer who gets put into marquee matches purely because of who he is and what people expect from him.

It almost seems too obvious that Sabre Jr. will win the CWC. The Kent native is going deep into the tournament, that's for sure.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
