10 Potential Bryan Danielson Dojo Recruits In AEW

8. Lee Moriarty

Much like Daniel Garcia, Lee Moriarty is a young, technically gifted wrestler who currently lacks the character work to bring him to the next level. Like Garcia, Moriarty is one of the talents that has been called out by Danielson in recent weeks as somebody who would benefit from his tutelage; in Danielson’s words, he needs “to learn violence”.

Moriarty stepped up to Danielson and the two had a match on the 16 February edition of Dynamite, with the veteran Danielson coming out on top after Moriarty passed out while caught in a triangle choke. As of the writing of this article, this was Moriarty’s last match on television, leaving the possibility of him aligning with the faction up in the air.

Considering Moriarty opted to pass out to the choke rather than tap, it seems likely that Danielson would only be more interested in helping the young star reach his potential. It's possible 'The Apex of Combat' returns to television as a surprise student of the 'Danielson Dojo', embracing a more violent side of himself.
