10 Potential Wrestling Rematches Fans Should Be Excited For

Back in 2014, the NXT women's division would be taken over by the Four Horsewomen; Becky Lynch, Bayley, Charlotte Flair, and Sasha Banks. The latter three women combined to hold the hold the NXT Women's Championship for nearly two years consecutively, with Sasha Banks winning the title at Takeover: Rival. That night, on top of being a career highlight for The Boss, it was also the only time arguably the four best women's wrestlers in the world squared off against each other.

While it was clear the Four Horsewomen of NXT were all exceptional talents, nobody could have predicted the success they would all have on WWE's biggest stage. Combined, they have won 37 championships, two Royal Rumbles, and a Money in the Bank. Becky Lynch is the only one not to achieve WWE's female Grand Slam, and she is the biggest female superstar the company has ever seen. Despite their accolades and collectively being on the main roster together for nearly six years, they have yet to have a rematch of their legendary first encounter.

Part of that can be explained by each of the Four Horsewomen being away for stretches of time, most notably Becky missing 15 months in order to give birth, followed by Bayley's current absence due to a torn ACL. However, when Bayley finally does return to WWE, one of the first orders of business should be rekindling the rivalry between four of the best female wrestlers in the world for one more match together.
