10 Potential Wrestling Rematches Fans Should Be Excited For

1. Kenny Omega vs. Bryan Danielson

Before walking into All Elite Wrestling last year, Bryan Danielson had wrestled 1,479 matches, with zero producing a five-star rating from Dave Meltzer. While that can be explained away with various factors, it is still a shock for someone many fans consider the best wrestler of the modern era. It took The American Dragon all of one match in AEW to reach that mark, doing so against Kenny Omega.

At Dynamite Grand Slam, two of the best in the world in Omega and Danielson would go to war for 30 minutes in a time limit draw. Despite the tie, fans everywhere agreed that is was one of, if not the best match of Bryan's career, with everyone waiting for a potential rematch. Since that contest eight months ago, The Best Bout Machine has been largely off television, rehabbing his long list of injuries while the former WWE Champion has continued to rack up impressive performances, now a part of Blackpool Combat Club.

Given that at the time of their first matchup Omega was reigning AEW World Champion and Danielson was making his debut for the company, the time limit draw was a logical conclusion. Now that Kenny has dropped his championship and Bryan is well established in AEW, it's time to take the training wheels for their highly anticipated rematch off, potentially in a no time limit match.
