If WWE's top priority is to get Roman Reigns over as their top babyface superstar then who better to challenge their future golden boy than their potentially soon-to-be-former golden boy John Cena? For years, Cena has generated polaraizing reactions from the crowds and, despite what WWE would have their viewers believe, that was never the desired result. If WWE had their druthers, Cena would be universally cheered the likes of Hulk Hogan in the 80s, Steve Austin in the late 90s, and The Rock in the early 2000s. Since Reigns has been struggling to get that same crowd support, wouldn't he be sure to get it over John Cena at WrestleMania? That's not the only reason to put those two men together in the main event of the biggest show of the year. The other was already inferred when discussing the status and WWE's positioning of both men. It's the present vs. the future in Cena vs. Reigns and it's one of the biggest money-making matches WWE has right now. What better time to present it than at WrestleMania 32? The most likely way for WWE to get there is by having Cena win the Royal Rumble in Orlando. Another Rumble victory for Cena would tie him with Steve Austin as having the most Royal Rumble victories in WWE history, with 3. With Roman's title on the line at WrestleMania, John would be looking to tie another prestigious record by joining Ric Flair as the only 16-time world champion. Yes, it appears Roman Reigns has quite the future of big-time matches ahead of him, but perhaps his showdown with John Cena will be given the spotlight first, with Cena winning the Royal Rumble.
