10 Potential WWE WrestleMania 37 Opponents For John Cena

3. Drew McIntyre

If Sheamus is a pre-'Mania rival for McIntyre, then the big Scot will need someone else high profile to work with in Tampa. Imagine it was Cena. That'd fit the mould of recent icons like Bill Goldberg, but it'd also legitimise Drew as WWE Champion when he and John tore the house down.

Or, as much as wrestlers can 'tear the house down' without live crowds.

Although WWE are hopeful of having one at this year's WrestleMania, it remains to be seen. Live audience or not though, Cena vs. McIntyre could be special, and it could be framed around John's quest to become a record-setting 17-time World Champion in company lineage.

Drew's own ambition would be to fend off another legend and show the world that this is his time to shine, not some lad who's since left full-time wrestling behind for the silver screen and HBO. If WWE are short for a good title challenger and can get him there, then Cena could be their man.
