10 Potentially Awesome WWE Feuds Which Failed To Deliver

8. Damien Sandow Vs. The Miz

Poor Damien Sandow. The man had proven himself time and time again, yet the company just never got behind him. No matter how stupid of an idea they gave him, Sandow took the ball and ran with it and with his efforts in this storyline he took the ball and outran Usain Bolt.

Sandow as The Miz's stunt double was a stroke of genius. Every week he was the highlight of Raw and SmackDown as his actions got more and more deranged, he got increasingly entertaining. Soon enough, he was the most over wrestler on the roster. It appeared that the struggling star was finally going to reach mid-card stardom at least. When the relationship began to get tense, everybody was waiting for the explosive break up and when it finally came at WrestleMania 31 when Sandow eliminated Miz from the Andre The Giant Battle Royal, the entire crowd erupted in support.

Eyes turned to the next night on Raw to see the follow-up, yet instead of the explosion of heat we expected to see, we instead saw a small fizzle. The only thing that was different was Summer Rae now favoured Sandow over Miz and the two traded wins on Raw. Sandow then lost to Miz in the concluding match but did he continue on his wave of momentum? No. Instead he decided to play dress up with Curtis Axel for a few months. Nice.
