2. Bayley Vs. Sasha Banks (2018)
Man, 2018 was really a bad year for repeat feuds.
Bayley and Sasha Banks' feud in NXT was and still is one of the best ever produced by the black and gold brand, so fans were pumped to see it play out on a larger stage. When Sasha and Bayley ended up on the same brand we all knew the two were destined to cross paths once more; it was a matter of when, not if. The moment Sasha turned on Bayley, fans rejoiced at the return of the badass boss character.
It got off to a good start with both women exchanging attacks, but then that's all they did. Then in a bizarre move, they tried to repeat the magic that was Kane and Daniel Bryan's trip to therapy. Even Dr Shelby himself made a return. It was definitely not the same, and all the segments were awkward and weird. Then like nothing happened, they were suddenly best mates again taking on the world as a tag team. The two didn't even get a blow-off match on Raw, let alone on a pay-per-view.
Granted, WWE have redeemed themselves with the story that they're telling with the pair currently. Somehow, they have turned one of 2018's worst feuds into 2020's best. Slow building and full of foreshadowing, it appears that WWE have gotten it right this time.
