If CM Punk was mentally and physically worn out at the 2014 Royal Rumble, then Dean Ambrose was totally shattered five years later. The future Jon Moxley had more trials and tribulations to come even post-WWE, but he knew he had to get away from the company if he was ever gonna have a shot at happiness.

Capitalising on one last match, WWE promoted 'The Shield's Final Chapter' on 21 April 2019. There, Ambrose teamed with stablemates Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins to beat Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre in a main event six-man tag.

Afterwards, Ambrose could be seen posing on the turnbuckles and looking down at Renee Young. The couple embraced at ringside too, then Deano's WWE contract expired on 30 April. Fans waited with baited breath for his next move, and it was worth the wait.

No-one will ever forget his debut at Double Or Nothing 2019, put it that way.
