3. Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt's chargrilled 'Fiend' was reborn anew at WrestleMania 37, but he was soundly thumped by Randy Orton when old sidekick Alexa Bliss turned on him. 24 hours later on the 12 April 2021 Raw, Bray appeared in that red sweater and announced a "fresh start" was imminent.

Not half.

That "fresh start" ended up being Wyatt's departure from WWE. The 'Firefly Fun House' segment he'd performed on 'Mania's night-after Raw proved to his last - Bray came to terms on his release by 31 July following months on the shelf doing exactly nothing.

His final act as a WWE star? Waving goodbye to fans watching 'Fun House', and smiling like he didn't have a care in the world. In reality, Wyatt was totally unsatisfied with the direction of his on-screen alter ego, and probably had been since being squashed by Goldberg in early-2020.

Bray has teased things on Twitter ever since, but hasn't wrestled again quite yet.
