10 Precise Moments When WWE Ruthless Aggression Era Careers Ended

8. Chuck Palumbo

Shawn Michaels Lance Cade
WWE

Big Chucky P!

Palumbo powered through quite the range of characters during his stay in WWE. He was a young WCW incomer, Billy Gunn's publicity stunt-loving partner, a member of the Full Blooded Italians and a greased-up biker; the latter would prove to be his final gimmick for the federation.

Chuck lost a short bout to Matt Hardy on the 13 June 2008 episode of SmackDown. Whilst he did work some house show dates after that (two matches vs. Paul London), Palumbo wasn't booked on TV shows before eventually being cut free in November after months and months of inactivity.

It had been coming, to be honest. WWE clearly lost interest in Palumbo as the years rolled on, and he was becoming busier with his own business ventures outside the company anyway. The cameras didn't linger on Chuck for long though. They focused more on Chavo Guerrero and Bam Neely (remember him?!) at ringside.
